Indications:
Betamethasone is used in the treatment of rheumatic, allergic, ocular and other conditions known to be responsive to corticosteroids.
How to take:
Dosage requirements for betamethasone are variable and must be individualized on the basis of the disease under treatment and the response of the patient. Take tablet as whole, do not chew or crush. After long term therapy of the drug, withdrawal should be done gradually rather the abruptly.
Precautions:
Betamethasone may cause fluid and electrolyte disturbances, muscle weakness, and peptic ulcer. If symptoms appear discontinue use of drug and report to the doctor immediately.
