Precautions: :
When taking gliclazide, blood sugar levels needs to be check from time to time because on rare occasions hypoglycemia or low blood sugar can occur as a side effect of the medicine. Limit alcohol and food intake while on gliclazide which can delay the lowering of blood sugar.
